On Wednesday, December 10, the partners of the Erasmus+ project “EmpowerAbility: Financial Literacy for All” met online for the official kick-off meeting. This collaborative project is dedicated to strengthening the financial skills of adults living with mental health disorders (MHDs) , with a focus on inclusion and accessibility for all.

This first meeting marks a key step in the launch of an ambitious new European collaboration between the partners:

This European project (no. 2025-1-FR01-KA210-ADU-000351384) aims to develop tools, methods, and educational resources to make financial literacy more accessible to the most vulnerable adult populations. Drawing on the complementary expertise of European partners, the project's objective is to:

  • to strengthen learners' autonomy and confidence

  • to promote social interaction and the inclusion of people.

This initial meeting notably allowed the partners to:

  • to share everyone's expectations and lay the organizational foundations

  • to cover the essential aspects for the smooth running of this new collaboration

  • to define everyone's responsibilities.

Monthly follow-up meetings will be organized to ensure the smooth running of the project.

The partners welcome this collaboration and this opportunity offered by the Erasmus+ program for more inclusive adult education.
