The EmpowerAbility project continues its development during a transnational meeting in Slovenia

Ljubljana (Slovenia) – Some of the most valuable lessons are learned by meeting new people, sharing experiences, and observing good practices in action. With this spirit in mind, the partners of the EmpowerAbility project gathered in Ljubljana for their Transnational Project Meeting (TPM) on 27 and 28 May.

A meeting dedicated to collaboration and knowledge sharing

The transnational meeting of the #EmpowerAbility project marked an important milestone in strengthening cooperation among partners, exchanging knowledge, and defining the next steps for the project's implementation.

Building on the results of the focus groups conducted across the partner countries, participants worked together on the development of the training modules and the Trainer’s Manual. This work helped refine the structure and content of the educational resources that will soon be made available.

Progress on key project activities

Beyond the development of the training materials, the partners also coordinated several essential aspects of the project. Discussions focused in particular on quality assurance, risk management, dissemination of results, the sustainability of the actions undertaken, and the overall implementation of the project.

This work contributes to ensuring the quality and long-term impact of the EmpowerAbility project’s outcomes.

An inspiring study visit to the Premiki employment centre

One of the highlights of the meeting was the study visit to the Premiki Employment Centre. This immersive experience gave participants a deeper understanding of the initiatives implemented to promote inclusive employment and allowed them to draw inspiration from the good practices developed by the organisation.

The visit provided valuable insights into how to further support the professional inclusion of people with disabilities.

A warm welcome appreciated by all partners

The project partners would like to extend their sincere thanks to Premiki for its warm welcome, hospitality, and excellent organisation of this transnational meeting. These conditions contributed significantly to the success of the event and to the quality of the exchanges among participants.

Through this new phase of work, the partners reaffirm their shared commitment to a more inclusive Europe and to creating better opportunities for people with disabilities.
